Brian serves eBusiness & Channel Strategy Professionals and specializes in how businesses can best use technology to drive results. Brian is a leading worldwide expert in eCommerce platforms, multichannel commerce and marketing technology, and mobile commerce. Brian has experience with a wide range of eBusiness technologies, ranging from eCommerce platforms and software-as-a-service (SaaS) offerings, mobile commerce solutions, analytics, rich imaging, search, personalization, and content management, among others. Brian has specific expertise within retail, B2B, and online travel, and his interests focus on multichannel strategies and technology solutions that support a wide range of business goals.

Brian is a seasoned Internet and eCommerce leader with extensive experience working with a wide range of commerce platforms and related technologies such as rich media, analytics, email marketing, search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), content management, digital asset management, dynamic content delivery, and content syndication.

Brian has more than 15 years of experience in eCommerce and online marketing, serving senior roles for large, established online retailers and web marketers such as Amazon.com, Classmates Online, Eddie Bauer, Expedia.com, and The Spiegel Group and providing solutions for the online retailers and web marketers while at Amazon Enterprise Solutions and his own firms. Brian's roles span both business and technology leadership, including web marketing, online merchandising, product management, solution architecture, customer experience design, and technology leadership.

    

David Watkins, Director for eCommerce, Product Management, AT&T

David Watkins is currently Director for eCommerce Product Management with AT&T Hosting and SaaS in which he is responsible for the strategy, technical direction and marketing of AT&T’s managed eCommerce services. His interests lie at the intersection of eCommerce, Cloud and Mobile and how companies can leverage these technologies to compete in a multi-channel world.

Previously with US Internetworking, David managed a professional services practice helping clients in Entertainment, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical and Retail achieve business results through the development of eCommerce, content management and custom built applications. While at US Internetworking he developed new business models that helped the company became the market’s leading application service provider that eventually led to the newest forms of IT outsourcing and cloud services today.

With over 15 years of experience, David was an early pioneer at implementing web technologies. While working for Nortel Networks as a computer integrated manufacturing engineer David established the company’s first interactive online manufacturing instructional system.

David holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from North Carolina State University.
