Mike has been a professional facilitator and financial information industry advocate for over 20 years. He is currently the Managing Director for the Enterprise Data Management Council – a business forum for financial institutions, data originators and vendors on the strategy and tactics of managing data as an enterprise-wide asset. Mike is an active participant in standards initiatives and has been involved with many organizations including the Reference Data Coalition (REDAC), the Securities and Financial Information Markets Association (SIFMA), the Association of National Numbering Agencies (ANNA) and the UK Reference Data User Group (RDUG). He was also a member of the SEC’s Advisory Committee on Market Data and a member of both ISO TC68 and ANSI X9D. Mike has been the Managing Director of the EDM Council since February 2006.

Chris joined HSBC Securities Services in August 2006 and is the Head of Product Management, Market Data Services.  Chris was previously at Threadneedle Investments where he was Head of Investment Information Services.  Before then he was a Director at UBS managing the business content aspects of their data management programme.  Chris started work in the city with Laurie, Milbank stockbrokers, in their futures and options operations team, continuing with Chase Manhattan for a further ten years, culminating in three years as head of the equity derivatives middle office.  He was also manager of OTC derivative client valuations at Bankers Trust.  Chris is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment

John Visti Madsen has eight years experience from the financial information industry, both on the vendor and consumer side. He started his career as a data analyst with SIX Telekurs. From there he moved on to VP Financial information. In 2007 he joined Saxo Bank and has up until recently been holding the position of Head of Market Data Sourcing and Strategy, looking after Saxo Bank´s Global data consumption, contracts and vendor relations.

"Naomi Clarke is an independent consultant specialising in data management and process transformation. With over 25 years experience in the finance sector, she works with clients at board and senior level to maximise value from the data they hold and improve the way work gets done.

Over the course of her career, she has advised many well-known names in the City on diverse assignments including setting up data management functions, building operational risk and governance frameworks, designing business operating models and due diligence of external acquisitions or suppliers. She has recently been working with one of the largest pension funds and a major data vendor.

Naomi holds an M.A. from the University of Oxford."

Currently Head of Data Management at Barings Asset Management. Over 17 years experience within the asset management industry within both operations and IT. Previous rolls with Aberdeen Asset Management (2007 - 2011) and Deutsche Asset Management (1994 – 2007).   Strong experience of data management, data governance, change management, business transformation, team leadership, top-level stakeholder management, acquisition integration, Data centre migration. Joined Barings asset management this year to concentrate on their data management programme.

Sally Scutt is Deputy Chief Executive of the British Bankers’ Association where she has responsibility for the key policy areas of capital adequacy and prudential regulation, capital markets and market infrastructure, corporate governance, accounting standards and financial crime.

Sally is a member of the European Banking Federation’s Executive Committee, as well as its Banking Supervision Committee and Chairman of its Capital Adequacy Working Group and also its Taskforce on Banking Supervision. She is also a member of the Plenary of European Banking Industry Committee and Chairman of its Banking Supervisory Practices Working Group.

In addition Sally is Managing Director of the International Banking Federation, an organisation founded in March 2004 and whose members comprise American Bankers Association, Australian Bankers’ Association, Canadian Bankers Association, the European Banking Federation and the Japanese Bankers’ Association and Associates are Banking Association of South Africa, China, India, South Korea and Russia. A key aim of the IBFed is to promote regulatory convergence. The IBFed focuses currently on key policy areas of prudential supervision, financial crime, international accounting standards, financial markets, corporate governance, consumer affairs and fair value networks.

Prior to joining the BBA, Sally was a career banker having spent most of her career in international and private banking.

In December 2008, David joined UBS AG and is Director in Market Data & Commissions Global Sourcing. He was previously Head of Procurement & Cost Control at Royal Bank of Canada Capital Markets Europe from May to Nov 2008. From 2006 to 2008 he was Global Head of Market Data at Barclays Capital. From 2001 to 2006 he was Global Head of Market Data for Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking. He first worked there as Head of Supplier Management for Market Data Services. From 1993 to 2001, David worked for Morgan Stanley, first in the Fixed Income, Commodities and FX department, where he held Sales and Trading posts around Europe. He later performed in Morgan Stanley Market Data and Technology department in London. He is Executive Committee member at IPUG, COSSIOM and FISD. David earned a “Diplomkaufman” in Berlin, a “Diplome des Grandes Ecoles” degree in Paris and a “Master’s Degree” in Oxford.
Married with three children, he is a keen rugby and ice-hockey player.

24 years in investment administration industry, 17 years with JP Morgan and 7 years previously with Royal Bank of Scotland. Experience in market & reference data, operational risk management, Fund valuations and operations management. Current responsibilities include development of asset pricing solutions for WSS clients and strategic build of JP Morgan pricing platform. Member of Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland.

 Malcolm Chisholm has over 25 years experience in data management, and has worked in a variety of sectors, including finance, insurance, manufacturing, government, defense and intelligence, pharmaceuticals, and retail. He is an independent consultant specializing in data governance, master/reference data management, metadata engineering, business rules management/execution, data architecture and design, and the organization of Enterprise Information Management. Malcolm is a well-known presenter at conferences in the US and Europe, writes columns in trade journals, and has authored the books: Managing Reference Data in Enterprise Databases; How to Build a Business Rules Engine; and Definitions in Information Management. In 2011, Malcolm was presented with the prestigious DAMA International Professional Achievement Award for contributions to Master Data Management. Matt Cox is a Managing Director based within the Asset Servicing business of BNY Mellon. Based in London, he is responsible for global projects and overall strategy as they relate to the company’s Global Securities Data Management Utility. Included in his responsibilities are all regulatory, client and internal driven projects as well as overseeing the group’s Global Best Practice initiative which looks to standardize processing across the various locations.
Matt joined the company in 2004. Prior to joining BNY Mellon, Matt spent just under 10 years at Fidelity Investments where he performed various roles within Investment Administration and Fund Accounting. Matt was also involved in various activities and projects whilst at Fidelity, including the transition from a legacy Fund Accounting Platform. He also helped design, test and implement a Security Pricing Platform within the organization.

Francis’ Division, located within the Directorate General Statistics of the ECB, is responsible for the external statistics of the euro area (balance of payments, international investment position, foreign direct investment, etc.) and coordinates their harmonisation across the EU. It also runs and further develops the Centralised Securities Database (CSDB), which holds reference and price data for individual securities used for producing euro area statistics. The Division also manages the provision of all market data services for the ECB.

Before joining the ECB in 2001, Francis worked for 15 years in the automotive industry. He joined Mercedes-Benz in 1986, and later moved to Mannesmann-VDO as Head of Strategic Planning. His roles ranged from materials research to globalisation, with a focus on Asia. He subsequently worked at Rieter AG, focussing on post-merger integration and process development. Francis joined the ECB as Head of the Organisational Planning Division; he moved to his current position in 2006.

An engineering graduate of Ecole Centrale des Arts et Manufactures, Paris, Francis also holds an MBA from Henley Management College, UK.

Richard Newbury rejoined SIX Telekurs in February 2009 having spent almost a year working at Barclays Global Investors as the UK manager of their Data Operations team.

He originally joined SIX Telekurs’s UK office as Head of Product Services in June 2004 and took on the role as Head of Product Management in mid-2007. Richard lead SIX Telekurs’ involvement in a wide range of industry initiatives such as MiFID and EUSD. His current focus is on developing global strategies for products and data as part of the Global Business Development team.

Previously, Mr. Newbury worked for Interactive Data. After leading a European customer support unit for four years, in 2002 he moved to their product management group as Product Enhancement Manager.

He has also spent a period of working in retail and manufacturing before 1998.

Mr. Newbury graduated from Goldsmiths’ College, University of London in 1992.

As Global Head of Reference Data Management, Lorraine is responsible for managing the day-to-day global reference data operations of RBS GBM and has accountability for driving the reference data strategy, developing the operating model and ensuring global alignment to policy and controls.

Reference Data at RBS GBM includes Client, Market, Common and Organisational reference data.

Prior to this appointment Lorraine was Global Head of Business Management for the Reference Data shared service at ABN AMRO. Her background includes close to 20 years of Investment Banking Operations and Change management experience and she has held senior roles at RBS, ABN Amro, Lloyds TSB Financial Markets, Abbey National Treasury Services, Lehman Brothers and BNP.

Philippe Rozental is Asset Servicing Manager at Société Générale Securities Services (SGSS).

He is based in Paris and is responsible of the following activities: pricing of OTC and structured derivatives, performance, risk & OTC Middle Office.

Prior to joining SGSS in 2005, Philippe Rozental was a consultant at McKinsey and Co and AT Kearney. He was specialised in Financial services area with specific focus on IT and Operations.

Marc Berthoud has been acting as deputy head of SIX Swiss Exchange’ Index & Data Products Division since 2002 and has been recently promoted as Executive Director. Marc is driving projects in the area of market data and analytics. He coordinated the Quote Quality Metrics (QQM) service development on behalf of Scoach in 2009, enabling the ongoing assessment of market making quality over some 30’000 securitised derivatives. He held similar project management responsibilities in the cross market order book metrics initiative called ELM.

He currently chairs the MMT Technical Committee. MMT is an industry initiative driven by FESE (Federation of European Securities Exchanges) and some leading data vendors, that is designed to standardise trade flags on trade messages. This standardisation effort will significantly improve market transparency and reduce complexity, and thus processing costs of market data.

Marc is also active as Vice Chairman of the Economics & Statistics Committee of FESE. He ‘s particularly involved in the quantitative data issues related to the MiFID2 review process.

Marc was granted FISD certification in 2010 as Financial Information Associate. He is also certified PRINCE2 project manager.

Marc had previously assignments at Geneva Stock Exchange during the transition phase towards fully automated trading and at Bayernwerk AG (now EON) in Munich.
Marc graduated in Economics in 1992 . He completed the ISMA (now ICMA) certification program in 1997.

John Bottega is Vice President and Chief Data Office for the MARKETS Division of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York (FRBNY). John joined the Bank in February of 2009, responsible for driving and implementing the MARKETS Division Data Management strategy, as it satisfies its responsibilities in supporting financial stability, markets analysis and markets monitoring. In this role, John has been responsible for bringing together business, technology and governance processes in order to establish a sustainable business data management function supported by a strategic technology infrastructure.

John has also been involved in a number of Bank and system-wide data management efforts, working with fellow colleagues to advance data management strategies within the Bank and across the Federal Reserve Bank system. John has also been involved in a number of industry efforts focused on improving data management best practices and establishing industry-wide data and data management standards - most recently, advancing the creation of the LEI – Legal Entity Identifier.

And finally, in addition to his responsibilities at the FRBNY, John has been given an additional assignment with the Office of Financial Research (OFR), US Department of the Treasury, as Senior Advisor to the Director of the OFR, to assist in establishing the OFR’s Data Management and Data Center functions in their efforts in studying systemic risk.

Prior to joining the Bank, John held the position as Chief Data Office for Citi, making him the first person in the finance industry to hold this title. At Citi, he was responsible for planning and managing the Investment Bank’s data management strategy, data policies, and operational line functions and data investments.

John has over 30 years of experience managing and transforming reference data functions, having spend 9 of those years at Lehman Brothers from 1990 to 1999 building their data management infrastructure of centralized market data processing and data quality, and 9 years collectively at Merrill Lynch, first as an applications developer, then as Product Manager for their Product & Pricing Data environments.

As an active industry participant, John has given over 2 dozen presentations and participated in dozens of round-table discussions on data management best practices at various Data Conferences globally, including a presentation to the State banks of China, an anti-money laundering conference in Singapore, and a presentation on data management organizational structure and strategy to the US Department of Defense.

John is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the EDM Council (Enterprise Data Management Council), an industry association focused on Financial Industry Data Management. He has also has served as the chairman of the executive committee of the Financial Information Services Division of the SIIA, has been a member of the SIA Standards and Protocol Committee, the Market Data Definition Language Committee and has been a member of the ISO Working Group 10 and Working Group 11 industry standards bodies.

Diarmuid joined UBS Global Asset Management in December 2009 and is currently Global Head of Data. In this role Diarmuid is responsible for ensuring that the Data Management teams provide a superior quality of instrument, benchmark and pricing services to both internal and external clients and downstream partners. He is also responsible implementing a data infrastructure that will ensure quality transaction, position, account, counterparty and instrument data as well as the distribution of that data within UBS

Prior to joining UBS Diarmuid spent just under 10 years at JP Morgan where he performed various roles within Fund Administration and Data Management.

From 2004 to 2011, Patrick worked on four different mergers, now Natixis, where he was responsible for all aspects of Market Data. Specific projects included audit, cost optimisation, merging of contracts and MDSL optimisation. Prior to joining Natixis, Patrick was a Market Data Consultant at CGI and at IXIS CIB.

Based in Paris, Patrick is now a Market Data Consultant at TeamTrade and part of the Market Data Compliance and Projects team at BNP Paribas.

Dave Cliff has held faculty posts in three UK universities and at MIT in the US. During 1998-2005 Professor Cliff worked in industry, as a Department Scientist for Hewlett-Packard Laboratories, where he led a major research interaction with the London Stock Exchange; and then as a Director/Trader in the Complex Risk Group at Deutsche Bank’s London foreign exchange (FX) trading floor. Since 2005 he has been director of the UK national research and training initiative in the science and engineering of large-scale complex IT systems. Dave is a member of the eight-person expert panel for the UK Government Office for Science "Foresight" project on the future of computer trading in the financial markets, led by Dame Clara Furse.

David Thomas joined Barclays Capital in January 2010 and is the Global Head of Client Data. He has over 10 years of Data experience across both Client and Product Data and has previously worked in both Run-the-Bank and Change-the-Bank roles at Citigroup, UBS and ABN Amro. Since joining BarCap, David has driven expansion of the Client Data services into other areas of the Barclays Group - Barclays Corporate, ABSA and Barclays Wealth – and ran the BarCap Transaction Reporting Data Project.

David also runs the Data Quality team and is the Project Manager for the Reference Data Regulatory team – a role that includes leading the BarCap response to LEI, UCI and UPI initiatives.

Eliza Manningham-Buller headed Britain’s Security Service (MI5) from 2002 to 2007, leading the organisation though substantial change in the wake of 9/11 and the growing threat from Al-Qaeda. During her time at the helm MI5 doubled in size, opened eight new offices and altered its approach to the professional development of staff with the establishment of a training academy. Earlier in her career, Eliza led the Service’s investigation into the Lockerbie bombing. She served in Washington during the first Gulf war, returning to establish MI5’s intelligence effort against the Provisional IRA in mainland Britain. She joined the board and assumed lead responsibility for work on Irish terrorism, surveillance, technical collection, finance and IT before becoming Deputy Director General in charge of intelligence operations. In her presentations Eliza draws on her experience in the most demanding of environments to stress the need for leaders in any walk of life to engage in frank dialogue and invite criticism. Do not try to be something you’re not, take responsibility for your team and remember that praising people takes seconds and can make an enormous difference. And don’t forget that humour can be found even in the most awful situations. Eliza Manningham-Buller is now a cross-bench Peer and a Governor of the Wellcome Trust. In 2011, she was chosen to deliver the Reith Lectures, alongside Burmese opposition politician, Aung San Suu Kyi.

JP is is a Reader in Finance in the Finance Department of the London School of Economics. Dr Zigrand's research interests are in the areas of derivatives markets, asset pricing, financial market regulation, and financial intermediation, and he is a frequent invited speaker at international conferences. Dr Zigrand is a consultant to the Asset Pricing and Portfolio Management, the Regulation and Financial Stability and the Risk Management and Fixed Income Markets sections of the Financial Markets Group at LSE (FMG), to private sector financial institutions as well as to regulatory bodies and central banks. He is a Lead Expert to the UK Treasury/BIS Foresight Project on the "Future of Computer Trading." His teaching is principally in quantitative finance at masters and PhD levels, and he is the programme director for the MSc Finance Part-Time programme at the LSE. He also has extensive executive teaching experience.

With over 12 years of experience in Business Intelligence and Data Integration, Jorge A. Lopez is responsible for data integration product marketing and strategy at Syncsort. Prior to joining Syncsort, Mr. Lopez was a Senior Product Manager at MicroStrategy, where he oversaw the technical direction of key business intelligenNo bce products and lead performance and scalability initiatives. Mr. Lopez holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, and bachelor’s degree in electronic systems engineering from the Monterrey Institute of Technology in Mexico City.

Steve Totman is the EMEA Business Unit Executive for Syncsort, with business and technical strategy responsibilities for Syncsort DMExpress data integration software. With over fourteen years of experience in the software and data integration industries, his career has focused on implementing large-scale data integration systems within fortune 500 companies worldwide, with particular expertise in ETL, metadata, data governance and user experience. Prior to Syncsort, Steve worked in Product Management at IBM, where he was instrumental in developing and driving the company’s DataStage and Information Server product line. Prior to IBM, he held technical, product management and marketing roles at software companies Ascential and Ardent. Steve is a prominent public speaker on ETL, Metadata, Data integration and data governance, and frequent contributor to industry articles and publications.

His work experience includes over 25 years including CIO of a Top Insurance company, Chief Architect for one of the top Insurance Companies in the World and VP of the World’s largest Mutual Fund Company. Driving the value propositions across WSS, to provide best practice, quality and value for money using a standard vendor model for Market Data. Previously Head of Operations & Technology for ICICI Bank covering Retail, Investment and Treasury banking; Prior to that Headed Operational Risk & Controls for the EMEA region at for the Investment Bank at JP Morgan. Before that was Chief Administration Officer & Head of EMEA Vendor Management for JP Morgan Asset Management. 25+ years financial service industry experience.

Ruben Lee is the CEO and Founder of Oxford Finance Group, a research and consulting firm which concentrates on business, economic, legal, political, regulatory and strategic aspects of financial markets. His clients include international finance organisations, governments, regulators, exchanges, clearing and settlement organisations, broker-dealers, data vendors, custodians, fund managers, commercial and investment banks, and strategy consultants. From 1989 to 1992, Dr. Lee was a Fellow of Nuffield College, Oxford University, where he specialised in financial economics and law. He worked from 1980 to 1984 in the capital markets in New York and London for Salomon Brothers International. Ruben has published widely on many topics concerning financial markets, including on exchanges, clearing and settlement, market data, regional integration, and securities regulation. He is the author of two books entitled “What is an Exchange? The Automation, Management, and Regulation, of Financial Markets”, and most recently, “Running the World’s Markets: The Governance of Financial Infrastructure”. Ruben has spoken throughout the world on many issues related to financial markets, and provided a range of official testimony in the UK, US, EU and Canada. He is a member of the Conseil Scientifique of the Autorité des Marchés Financiers in France, and was previously on the Advisory Panel of Financial Services Experts, established by the Economics and Monetary Affairs Committee, European Parliament.

Karel Lannoo (°1961) has been chief executive of the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) since 2000 and senior research fellow since 1997. CEPS is one of the leading independent European think tanks, with a strong reputation in economic and foreign policy research. It has total revenues of € 6 million (2010) and employs about 50 persons.
He has published some books and numerous articles in specialised magazines and journals on general European policy, and specifically financial regulation and supervision matters. He spoke at hearings and participated in studies for national and international bodies. He is a regular speaker at international gatherings and in executive programmes.
Karel Lannoo holds an MA in history (1985) from the University of Leuven, Belgium and obtained a postgraduate in European studies (CEE) from the University of Nancy, France (1986).
Karel Lannoo is an independent director of BME (Bolsas Y Mercados Espanoles), the company which runs the Madrid stock exchange. He also directs the European Capital Markets Institute (ECMI) and the European Credit Research Institute (ECRI), both separate legal entities which are managed by CEPS.

Marc Zimmerman is Vice President and Global Head of Capgemini’s Financial Services Business Information Management practice. The global practice comprises over 700 financial services domain and technology specialists, including recognized industry leaders and subject matter experts. The practice also houses a Global Risk Center of Excellence that delivers unparalleled expertise in the development and implementation of comprehensive risk infrastructures for financial institutions.

Marc is responsible for the global development, management and growth of Capgemini’s Business Information Management consulting services operation with a principal focus on Enterprise Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance, Customer Data Management and Business Information Competency across all segments of the Financial Services industry.

John Randles is chief executive officer of PolarLake. John joined PolarLake from Siebel Systems, where he was CTO Banking and responsible for the Retail Banking business across the Americas and EMEA. Prior to joining Siebel, John was CTO of Eontec, a world leader in component-based banking systems, which was acquired by Siebel Systems in 2004. John also led Eontec’s business in North America and had previously led Product Development, Strategy, Product Marketing and Pre-Sales globally.

Ken Price is the CEO and a co-founder of Avox. He has worked closely with senior executives at financial institutions around the world to develop what was initially perceived as a radical solution to ongoing reference data problems. Prior to starting Avox, Ken held global sales management and general management roles with the enterprise risk management software vendor Algorithmics and the derivative modeling software company Monis (now part of Sungard). He has a degree in mechanical engineering and an MBA in finance. Addressing reference data challenges with his clients has been a key part of Ken’s role for the past 14 years.

Don Gray is the Global Head of Data Quality for Citi. In this role he is responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing execution of Citi’s data quality program worldwide. The program encompasses data quality framework, tools, professional development, operating model, measurement and reporting, issues management and resolution, and continuous improvement.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Gray held executive re-engineering roles at Citi and in Bank of America where he built out new structured engineering capabilities that drove large-scale quality and productivity gains.
Prior to entering the financial services industry in 2001, Mr. Gray held executive and general management roles in the computer equipment and services industry.
Don resides in the Boston, Massachusetts area with his wife and two youngest sons.

Jon has over 12 years experience in information management and data analysis, and has worked with both global consultancies and software vendors for many international clients. Initially working within direct marketing operations, assisting clients to build a single customer view and optimise customer analytics, Jon developed a detailed understanding of managing disparate data systems. Most recently, Jon has focused on data quality management and has advised clients to plan their data quality strategy and build business case justifications for data management initiatives such as Data Governance and MDM. Jon has held senior consulting positions at both HP Consulting and Deloitte and is a regular speaker at data management industry events, author and blogger on Data Governance topics

Erol Mustafa is a Partner with Ernst & Young based in London, with more than 20 years experience. He leads Ernst & Young's EMEIA Financial Services Information Management and Analytics team, with extensive experience in data management, data quality and data analytics. Erol is a frequent contributor to thought leadership on information management, IT risk management, and technology governance, including many contributions to recognised industry journals and conferences.

Fred Cohen is Group Vice-President and Global Head of iGATE Patni's Capital Markets and Investment Banking practice. With over 25 years’ of experience in the financial markets, Fred has held senior management positions with high-profile employers such as Lehman Brothers, State Street, Thomson Financial and DST; he also has extensive experience managing very large scale financial projects.

Steven Goldstein is Co-founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Alacra.

Formerly, Mr. Goldstein was Vice President of Strategic Planning for Knight-Ridder's Business Information Services division. In that role he was responsible for Knight-Ridder's acquisition of Technimetrics and its pre-IPO investment in Netscape Communications. Mr. Goldstein previously held a range of sales and marketing positions at Knight-Ridder's Business Information properties.

Mr. Goldstein recently completed a three year term on the New York Federal Reserve President's Advisory Council on Small Business and Agriculture.

Mr. Goldstein has a BS in English from SUNY Albany and an MBA in Finance from Cornell University. He resides in New York City.

Chris has spent almost 30 years in the Information management field, working for blue-chip organisations in Data Management Strategy, Master Data Management, Metadata Management, Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence. Graduating in 1979 Chris worked for the MoD(Navy), Volvo, Thorn EMI (as Head of Information Management), Readers Digest Inc (as UK CIO), and Coopers and Lybrand Management Consultancy where he established and ran the International Data Management practice.
Chris heads IPL’s Business Consultancy practice and is advising several commercial and public sector clients on Business Process and Information Asset Management.
Chris is a member of the Meta Data Professionals Organisation (MPO) and DAMA where he has attained the highest level of data management professional certification (CDMP Master). He co_authored “Data Modelling For The Business – A Handbook for aligning the business with IT using high-level data models”. Chris is a columnist and frequent contributor to industry publications. He authors an experts channel on the influential BeyeNETWORK, is a recognised thought-leader in Information Management and regular key speaker at major International Information Management conferences.

Peter is responsible for marketing Informatica’s data integration, data quality, master data management and governance solutions to the banking and capital markets industry. Mr. Ku has over 6 years in consumer credit risk and fraud management experience with Providian Bancorp and Visa International and over 10 years marketing data integration, data governance, data quality, business intelligence, data warehousing, and predictive analytic software solutions to the global financial services industry with Sagent Technology, Iteration Software, Dorado, and Ellie Mae.

Victoria Winningham is a experienced data architecture leader specializing in data integration, reference data, data governance, master data management, data warehouses, and data quality. She has worked in a variety of sectors including finance, insurance, government, defense and manufacturing. Victoria has led master data management & Data Quality programs in a variety of industries. She started on the business side which has given her a unique perspective on implementing solutions to solve business problems.

Gavin is the Global Head of Product Management for Enterprise Data Management (EDM) at Thomson Reuters, and is responsible for the building of the next generation data management platform and related propositions. He leads a team of cross industry experts, providing thought leadership and best practices. Gavin and his team are also responsible for the management of a feed handler factory who are dedicated to building data feeds from several vendors; as well as the build out of an industry agnostic canonical data model for financial data.

Rudolf Siebel is responsible for legal and regulatory affairs, fund industry standards and market research at BVI, the German asset management and fund industry trade association. Mr. Siebel represents the interests of the asset management industry on the advisory board of the German financial services regulator BaFin. He is a deputy member of the Board of Directors of the European investment fund trade association, EFAMA, and chairs its Fund Processing Standardisation Group (FPSG). Currently he serves as Vice Chair of the International Securities Market Practice Group (SMPG). Previously, he was a Vice President - Senior Credit Officer with Moody´s Investors Service.

Ross began his involvement in data management and quality in 2001 when he was asked to lead the data activities for a customer data integration initiative driven by Basel2 regulations for commercial banking customers. Ross was heavily involved in all aspects of the project's data architecture and development, bringing together data from over thirty operational systems. He continued to be involved into the system's operational phase, supporting the business area through system improvements and quality campaigns. The resulting customer data repository became widely respected as a high quality source of data. Further projects included adding anti money laundering data and ensuring that the high quality of data was maintained through interfaces with third parties. Prior experience includes a background in business analysis and system development in public and private sectors. He also operated as an e-commerce consultant working on electronic banking related projects. Recently he has been involved in a Solvency2 programme as a data quality consultant, putting together a data quality approach that is capable of meeting the specific quality requirements of the legislation; and operating as part of a team responsible for defining a data governance framework.

Sven Bossu is a member of SWIFT’s Marketing management team in the securities and treasury area. Based at SWIFT’s headquarters in Belgium, he is spearheading SWIFT’s implementation programme for the new Legal Entity Identifier (LEI). Sven joined SWIFT in 2008 to lead the funds industry’s migration to SWIFT’s strategic, ISO 20022-based solution for standardising and automating communications around funds processing. Prior to his career at SWIFT, Sven spent more than 10 years at ING – in both the bank and investment management areas – leading a range of key securities operations programmes.
