Randall C. Clark is a Global Senior Strategic Buyer for Volvo Group Non-Automotive Purchasing (NAP). His role is to create the procurement strategy for MRO and Packaging products and services required by the brands of Volvo Group worldwide. He is focused on the requirements of each manufacturing facility to create the process for supplier selection, negotiation, implementation and development. He has over 15 years of manufacturing experience focused on reducing cost, increasing revenue and streamlining operations through the procurement strategy. Cost containment, supplier rationalization and revenue enhancement are areas that he has contributed to several industries with strategic initiatives on a global basis.
Randall has also been featured in Purchasing magazine on several occasions regarding supplier selection, procurement strategy, and the overall distribution chain of MRO suppliers. He has served on Volvo Group NAP steering committees to develop the Strategic Sourcing Process and the Project Management Process. He is frequently asked by companies and universities to lead workshops and discussions on international business procedures.
One of his core values states that every meeting with a supplier is a negotiation. Our job in procurement is to understand the market so we can establish a fair profit margin and mutually beneficial business relationship for both buyer and seller.

Prior to joining Cisco, Brian spent over 10 years as a management consultant focusing on corporate sustainability issues. He is a recognized expert on Life Cycle Assessment and worked with a number of Fortune 500 firms on design for environment, life cycle management, green buildings, climate change and sustainability reporting projects. He was involved in the development of the first draft of the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and has supported the US and Canadian governments in developing standards for evaluating the environmental footprint of ‘green’ projects and products.

Aniruddha heads the ‘Sourcing Solutions’ group of Tata Consultancy Services Limited, with a total work experience of over 23 years, out of which 15 years are in the Manufacturing industry.
Aniruddha has successfully leveraged his core competency in Sourcing & Procurement to develop business and execute projects for the Sourcing Solutions group of TCS. This group helps customers realize substantial savings by identifying and implementing various sourcing strategies, including LCC sourcing. TCS’ reach in to the emerging supply markets and its strong sourcing capabilities are leveraged by organizations world-wide to program manage their sourcing initiative and establish a robust supply chain from the emerging supplier markets.

For the first fifteen years, Aniruddha has led an illustrious and enriching career at Thermax Limited, a leading multi-national organization engaged in the design and manufacturing of industrial boilers, chillers and other allied equipment, in which he has developed deep expertise in the areas of Materials Management, Supply Chain Management, New Product Introduction, Total Quality Management and Kaizen. He was heading the Materials Function when he left Thermax Limited.

John W. Henke Jr. is on the marketing faculty of the School of Business Administration at Oakland University (Rochester, MI). Prior to joining the academic community, he held sales and marketing management positions during a 15 year period with several firms, including the IBM Corporation, Data Processing Division, and the Automotive Division of General Automation, an international manufacturer of automated industrial processes. He has continued his association with the business world as President of Planning Perspectives, a management consulting firm specializing in business-to-business marketing, purchasing, and buyer-supplier relationships. In this capacity, he has worked with numerous organizations, including in recent years, American Plastics Council, ArvinMeritor, BP plc (formerly British Petroleum), Chrysler, Cisco Systems, Delphi, Flextronics, Ford, GE Healthcare, General Motors, Hilti Corporation, Holcim, Honda, Lubrizol, Mars, Nissan, PACCAR, PSCU Financial Services, Rolls-Royce plc, Royal Numico N.V., Toyota, US Air Force Materiel Command, and Visteon.
Under Professor Henke's direction, Planning Perspectives conducts the Annual North American Automotive OEM-Tier 1 Supplier Working Relations Study, a study of the working relations that exist between each of the six major North American OEMs (Chrysler, Ford, General Motors, Honda, Nissan, and Toyota) and their Tier 1 production suppliers. The annual OEM-Supplier Working Relations Index (WRI), which is based on suppliers' experiences with each OEM in over 1000 buying situations, has become the benchmark measure of OEM-supplier working relations in the automotive industry.
Prof. Henke has given numerous presentations in the United States, Europe, and Japan on business-to-business marketing and purchasing-related topics. His papers have been published in a variety of journals, including the Sloan Management Review, Marketing Letters, Industrial Marketing Management, Journal of Product Innovation Management, Journal of Business Strategy, Journal of Business and Industrial Marketing, Business Horizons, Systemica, Systems Research, and the International Journal of Purchasing and Materials Management.
When Prof. Henke was faculty advisor to the Oakland University American Marketing Association Student Chapter, the Chapter won the coveted International Student Chapter of the Year Award, besting over 430 student chapters from colleges and universities throughout North America.
His degrees include a BA (physics) from Eastern Michigan University, a MS (radiological physics) from Cornell University, and a MBA (marketing) and Ph.D. (marketing) from Michigan State University. While at Cornell he was the recipient of a Sloan-Kettering Fellowship. He has also received several automotive industry research grants from the MIT International Motor Vehicle Program. |

Dr. Jayanth Jayaram is an Associate Professor of Management Science and Ph.D Program Coordinator in the Moore School of Business at University of South Carolina. He obtained his Ph.D. in supply chain management from Michigan State University and MBA in general business administration from Central Michigan University. He has had eight years of work experience in multinational companies and consulting firms prior to his MBA. He is professionally certified as a Chartered Accountant from India.
At the Moore School, Dr Jayaram has played an active role in the inception, development and growth of the Center for Global Supply Chain and Process Management (GSCPM) having helped make presentations to prospective company clients such as Westinghouse, Pfizer, Milliken, Michelin, ENODIS and Ingersoll Rand. He has successfully managed student projects on a variety of sourcing and supply chain management issues in companies such as Belk, Target, Ingersoll Rand, Sonoco, Westinghouse Electric, Hubbell Power Systems, Sam’s Club and Rockwell Automation.
His research interests are in supplier scorecards, global operations strategy, supply chain management, new product development and strategic purchasing. He currently serves on (or has served on) the editorial review boards of several operations management journals such as Journal of Operations Management, Decision Sciences, Production and Operations Management Journal, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Journal of Supply Chain Management and Journal of Business Logistics.
His PhD work in the area of supply chain integration mechanisms in new product development projects was awarded the National Association of Purchasing Management (NAPM) Doctoral Dissertation Award. He has been successful in obtaining research grants from Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER), Family Owned Business Institute (FOBI) and Institute of Supply Management (ISM).
He has served as an external examiner of research grant applications made to National Science Foundation (NSF), Austrian National Science Foundation and Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada. He has also served on committees in professional associations such as Institute of Supply Management (ISM), Decision Science Institute (DSI), American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) and American Society of Quality (ASQ). |

He is also a C.P.M. instructor and former President of the National Association of Purchasing Management, New York (NAPM-NY).
Mr. Kelly has been recognized by the sourcing industry for his accomplishments. In 2008, he received the J.H. Leonard Award from NAPM-NY for significant efforts on behalf of the purchasing profession and for contributions to the growth, development, and professional stature of the association. Additionally, Mr. Kelly was named one of Supply and Demand Chain Executive magazine’s Pros to Know in 2007 and 2008.
Mr. Kelly is very active in his community of Huntington, NY. His commitment led him to be elected the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce in 2005. As a result of his work in rebuilding the financial stability of the Chamber, Mr. Kelly was named one of Long Island’s Top 50 most influential people in 2006, 2007 and 2008.

In August 2007 Howard Levy was appointed Chief Procurement Officer of Biomet, a worldwide leader in the design and manufacture of products for the orthopedic, sports medicine, biologic, and dental markets. In this new role for this high growth high technology private equity owned company, Mr. Levy created and now leads all of Biomet’s global strategic sourcing activities for both direct and indirect materials across manufacturing sites in North America, Europe, and Asia.
Prior to joining Biomet, Mr. Levy served as Chief Procurement Officer of Ryerson, a leading distributor and processor of metals. In addition to his roles as a Chief Procurement Officer, Mr. Levy has served as a Senior Vice President of Purchasing at Case New Holland (agriculture and construction manufacturer) and CSX (a freight railroad). Mr. Levy also served in various executive procurement capacities with Navistar International Transportation Company (truck and engine manufacturer), including Vice President – Purchasing & Supplier Development. Naseem A. Malik is the Director of Global Sourcing, Electrical Components at Terex. He leads the procurement team’s efforts to develop and implement commodity strategies, supply assurance, cost reduction programs, supplier assessment and rationalization, and optimization of procurement processes to ensure efficient leveraging of Terex’s global economies of scale.
Previously, Naseem was the Director of Global Sourcing at ACCO Brands Corporation, a Chicago-based consumer products company. Naseem is experienced in implementing global supply strategies, product and process cost reductions, and supply chain improvements. His strategic sourcing leadership helped achieve continuing cost and operational efficiencies for ACCO.
Naseem was also with Equity Office Properties as Manager, Central Procurement. He was an integral member of the team that led the change from a decentralized group to a center-led and regionally-focused procurement organization. Prior to this, Naseem held a variety of procurement and strategic sourcing roles at RR Donnelley, RailMarketplace, FreeMarkets/Ariba and International Truck & Engine Corporation. His past experience also includes e-sourcing and supply chain consulting roles.

Gregg H. Malicki is Executive Vice President for Woods Equipment Company. This leading Oregon, Illinois, based company produces agricultural and construction equipment attachments at five factories across the U.S. and provides aftermarket parts for off-road applications.

Prior to joining Woods, Gregg was President of Global Associates Limited, a provider of lean manufacturing and global supply chain management consulting services. He assisted clients in China, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Canada.
Gregg was also Manager, Strategic Sourcing, Enterprise Supply Management, and Process Owner, International Purchasing Offices, for Deere & Company. He helped develop John Deere's 2001 and 2002 Supply Management Strategic Plans, designed to make supply management and strategic sourcing one of the Company's greatest competitive advantages and contributed to Deere winning Purchasing Magazine's 2001 Medal for Professional Excellence.
Gregg led a staff directing Enterprise-wide, cross-divisional teams, developing global strategies for $1.5 billion per year in materials purchases. At the same time, he managed an international team located around the world assisting 73 operating units in 18 countries for strategic materials sourcing.
Gregg coordinated Deere’s project to invest in China operations and the company now has a headquarters, three factories, and marketing presence there.
He holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the University of Iowa. |

Joe Siciliano is presently the Director of Procurement at Reader’s Digest. He has been in this role for 1 year. In this capacity he has been charged with consolidating all Indirect Purchasing spend across Affinities to drive bottom line savings. In his first year Joe’s team has saved over 13% across commodity categories through strategic sourcing. In addition he is reducing transactional processing by the introduction of Pcard. As Reader’s Digest is going through a transformation, Joe is responsible for changing spending habits and driving compliance across the business.
Prior to Reader’s Digest, Joe Siciliano was a Purchasing Director at Avaya as spun off from Lucent in October 2000. Joe was responsible for overall Indirect Procurement commodities (Telecom, Office Supplies, Human Resources, IT Services, etc.). Joe was responsible for managing over $2B in spend for Avaya within these categories. In addition, Joe had the responsibility to design, configure and implement an e-procurement system (Ariba Spend Management Suite) for Avaya. Year over year savings from this tool implementation and driving spend through Procurement has saved Avaya over $300M. Under the direction of Joe, each commodity team has recently developed a strategy to manage global spend in their category over the next three years committing to spend reductions that will reach an additional $40M. In addition to the Procurement responsibilities, Joe’s teams have designed, configured and implemented the SAP HR module replacing PeopleSoft and completing full SAP integration and Concur systems software for all Travel and Living expense management during his time at Avaya.
As Lucent spun off from AT&T in July 1996, Joe directed a team of 150 Project Manager’s globally in implementing SAP as Lucent’s ERP in 42 countries and the U.S. The General Ledger and several sub-ledger systems (Procurement, Payables, Fixed Assets and Treasury) were designed, configured and implemented in his four years at Lucent.
Joe has been at part of AT&T, Lucent and Avaya for over 30 years. During this time he has worked in Real Estate, Finance, IT and Procurement. Over the past 13 year Joe has also been a Certified Project Manager. |

Bill worked in several senior management positions in the financial services industry before joining TPI. As Chief Procurement Officer & Head of Strategic Sourcing, he was responsible for procurement transformation and attained more than US$300 million in annualized savings, led merger integration and rationalization activities, implemented a leading sourcing management system and outsourced facilities management for office towers.
Bill holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from Dartmouth College, and a Master of Business Administration degree in International Business from the University of Bridgeport. He completed additional post-graduate work in Accounting at Western Connecticut State University. Bill was two term Chairman of the Board for the International Association for Contract and Commercial Management and currently serves on the Advisory Board for the Sourcing Interests Group.
