Trader Monthly was founded by former trader Magnus Greaves after identifying a need for a magazine that truly reflected the work and lifestyle of a financial trader. The magazine has become the industry bible for traders and hedge fund managers and every issue is packed with news, reviews and profiles of the industry's biggest movers and shakers as well as essential luxury lifestyle content. Trader Monthly was launched in the US in 2004 and followed in the UK in 2005, it has quickly grown in profile mainly due to the lists it compiles of industry leaders like the "Trader 100" and the "30 Under 30". Trader Monthly is sent to 50,000 traders and hedge fund managers by name.
