The TradeTech European Awards 2008 were held to identify, honour and promote 2008’s best performance and contributions on the Buy and Sell Side in Europe, as well as to provide a showcase for successful innovations in this market's technology solutions.

Responding to industry demand for an independent, open and fair Awards nomination and assessment process, we organised the TradeTech Awards to provide a chance for all industry’s practitioners; both teams and individuals, to nominate their achievements and to be assessed by their peers and clients and by industry experts.

The Winners received their well-deserved recognition and accolade when the results were announced on 23rd April 2008 at the TradeTech Awards Ceremony.

The Awards ceremony was a glittering evening at the CNIT Centre, where our TradeTech Equities 2008 conference was held.

The Awards were open to all financial services professionals active in Europe in equities. Awards nominations were encouraged from ALL industry participants.

A panel of industry Judges was assembled to assess all the nominations in a rigorously independent and impartial process managed by WBR Ltd. The judges, drawn from the ranks of industry practitionersand thought leaders, evaluated all the nominations to determine the shortlist, and selected a winner in each category, with the results kept confidential until the Awards ceremony.
