Jérôme Olive, born on 8 December 1957, is an engineer who graduated from the ICAM School of Engineering in 1980. He started his career at Renault's Sandouville plant in 1982. He was involved in the R25 and R21 vehicle projects, occupying various posts related to the reliability of procedures and maintenance. In 1985 he joined the SBFM as Investments and Maintenance Manager, then as Production Director. In 1996 he moved to Renault Douai for the start-up of Scenic 1, working as head of the car body department. In 1999 he became Deputy Director in charge of manufacturing and, at the beginning of 2004, he was appointed Director of the plant.

Né le 8 décembre 1957, Jérôme Olive est Ingénieur diplômé de l’ICAM (Institut Catholique d’Arts et Métiers) en 1980. Il entre chez Renault en 1982 à l’usine de Sandouville. Dans le cadre des projets véhicules R25 puis R21, il occupe différents postes en charge de fiabilisation des process et maintenance. En 1985, il rejoint la SBFM où il occupe le poste de responsable investissements et maintenance puis celui de Directeur de la production. En 1996, il rejoint Renault Douai pour démarrer Scenic 1 comme chef de département tôlerie puis, en 1999, devient Sous-Directeur en charge de la fabrication, et prend la Direction de l’usine début 2004.
