The British Romanian Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organisation, established in 1998. A registered company limited by guarantee and owned by its membership with the mission to use its good offices and activities to increase British-Romanian business and investments, to foster a better understanding between the two nations and encourage bilateral trade and industry, tourism, financial investment and cultural relations.
The Chamber’s activities:
· Initiates & provides continuously improving benefits & services for members through its activities, events, general services in the UK and Romania for the benefit of the membership and the business communities at large
· Continuously strives to strengthen its financial position, to enable the aims set by the membership to be achieved
· Establishes local representation in the form of branches to best service all members, potential members, the business communities at large
· Is recognised by policymakers, the media and business people as an effective voice for the business communities involved in trade between the two countries
· Positively and actively encourages co-operation and promotion between various governmental, non-governmental and business owned agencies, including social, cultural and charitable groups, which can contribute to an improvement in British-Romanian trade and investment and general well-being of civil societies
· Promotes and assists the membership in realising their aims and objectives in both countries
