Peter LAKATOS was born in Budapest, in 1961. He graduated from the Technical University of Budapest as an electrical engineer in 1983. He went on to perform scientific work as Ph.D. student in computer sciences on “Man-Machine Interaction”.
He started his professional career at Műszertechnika Zrt. in 1986, where he participated among others in the establishment of the Eastern European foreign trade and the world-wide sourcing activity of the company. He played a prominent part in the set-up of the office automation business line of the company. He has been deputy CEO and Member of the Board of Műszertechnika ZRt. since 1991.
In 1991 he joined the shareholders of Videoton Holding Zrt, where he is a co-CEO and a member in the Board of Directors even today. Since 2007 he has been the joint owner and honorary president of Bravogroup. He and his wife Éva CSIBY established and have operate the charity website www.ad6kap6.hu made by Webconsult.hu Kft, a member of the Bravogroup, in 2008.

Attila KULIK graduated as B.A. in International Business in 2003. He holds also a post-graduate diploma in International Business Management. He started his professional career at TDK Electronics Hungary and then joined TDK Electronics Europe in Germany. From 2007 to 2008 he worked for Mars Hungary. In January 2009 he took up a position in the purchasing team of Volkswagen AG in Budapest as a senior buyer for metal parts. Murat Mermer was Born in 1971 in Yesilkoy, Istanbul. Graduating from the Cavusoğlu High School in 1988, he attended the Kyrenia American University in Northern Cyprus. He was transferred to the Los Angeles American Global University from which he graduated in 1994.
He took up his first job in a Textile company in Los Angeles in 1994. Returning to Turkey in 1996 as a third generation representative he took charge of the sales department as a deputy manager. He moved on to the finance department between 2000-2002 and the law department in 2002 - 2003.
Taking charge of the Newport Intercity Passenger Transportation Company as operation manager between the years 2003-2005, he became the General Manager of the Mermerler Automotive Company at the end of year 2005.
In 2006, Mermerler Automotive signed a distributorship agreement with China’s biggest local automobile manufacturer. Gyula Kenyeres started his GM career in 1992 at GM Hungary. He worked in various several production jobs in the Car Assembly area. From 1998 he led a new transmission project and later run that CVT Plant. In 2002 he was nominated as Fam.1 Engine Plant manager. He got a 3-year international assignment at Opel’s HQ in Germany from 2006, working in the quality organization, as Global Future Product Quality manager. Returning from this assignment, he became the Plant Quality manager of Opel Szentgotthárd. Since Sept 2011 he works as a Unit manager of the new Flex Engine Plant.

José Gonçalves, is based in Hungary, as the Delphi Thermal Hungary managing director, since October 2009. Gonçalves began his career in 1991 when he joined Delphi at the Donchery, France site as a model shop supervisor. Since that time, José assumed several different functions as a product engineer, customer manager and a program manager. Hermann Butz joined the Bosch Group as commercial trainee in 1992 in the starter motors
plant Hildesheim after his graduation from University of Göttingen.
In 1993 he transferred to ELBO, Turkey at that time a newly established joint venture
company between Bosch and Elginkan-Group. Here he served in several different
commercial functions and finally as commercial plant manager until the final take over
through Bosch in 1998. After a short stay as logistics manager in the Bosch plant Bamberg
he returned back to Turkey in 2000 in and took over the responsibility for controlling, finance
and accounting of the Bosch plant Bursa. In 2003 he became commercial plant manager in
Bursa. After 2 years stay at the Bosch corporate headquarters Hermann Butz was appointed
General Manager and representative of the Bosch Group to Turkey. In 2009 he additionally
assumed the position as commercial plant manager of the Bosch plant in Bursa.

Peter Biro graduated from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics with a degree of Msc in Economics. He also holds an MBA in Quality and Operations management. In 1995 he joined GE Lighting central purchasing, and served in various purchasing positions, last as Global Sourcing Manager of metals. In 2001 he joined Remy Automotive Hungary (a subsidiary of former Delco Remy Inc) as Purchasing Manager. Murat Baysan was born in 1970. Graduated from Bergische University Wuppertal in Germany in economics, he served in several managerial assignments in different European Countries. He was appointed as General Manager Johnson Controls Automotive Turkey in 2007. He is leading the Turkey business of JCI including MSKT, a joint venture company of JCI and Diniz Holding, a leading turkish Automotive group. In 2011, Murat is appointed as boardmember of the company ThierryDiniz.

Dr.-Ing. Jens Baumgarten, born in 1973, studied mechanical engineering at Braunschweig Technical University. After completing his PHD in 2003 at the Institute for Metal Forming Technology and Metal Forming Machine Tools of the Leibniz University Hannover he joined Adam Opel AG’s Manufacturing Engineering Division. After assingments in CAE research and international program management he took over a stamping process engineering team in 2008. In 2009 he joined Sitech Group as head of Advanced Engineering. Since 2011 he manages Sitech’s Innovation Management & Structures Engineering department. One of his tasks is the development of new product and process concepts in the field of automotive seating systems.

Originally, Mr. Herbert Rupp began his professional career as a certified Mechanical Engineer, then further broadened his skills and education with a degree in Industrial Engineering / Plant & Labour Management. Herbert Rupp’s foreign assignments contrasted from a number of different job orientations at – Carl Schenk A.G., Darmstadt, BÖWE GmbH, Augsburg, and Walter Dittel GmbH, Lansberg, where he became Managing Director. In 1993, Knorr Bremse GmbH approached Herbert with the challenge of developing their troublesome factory in Kecskemét. The result: production numbers rose by 850%, and labour force increased by 40% by the end of his two and a half years management. When he was proposed to direct the then small 20 man Hungarian plant of Zeuna Stärker GmbH in 1996, he accepted, little didn’t he know that this would be his last vocation for a corporate. After having maximized the factory to a 300 man operation, and increasing the annual turnover of 550 thousand DM to 60 million Euro, Herbert Rupp retired from his position as Managing Director. Today, Herbert Rupp runs his own company, developing the skills of the Hungarian labour force to exceed the ever-changing, foreign driven market. Lázló Palkovics graduated from the Technical University in Budapest as mechanical engineer in 1989. He obtained his PhD degree in 1993 in control engineering after spending some part of the PhD studies in Finland and in The Netherlands. As a research felow, spent a year in Canada working for the Canadian National Research Council. After returning to Hungary in 1994 became a professor at TU Budapest chairing the Department of Automobiles. Since 1995 has worked for the Knorr Bremse in different positions parallel to the academic activities. Filed several patents, among others the first patent for commercial vehicle ESP is owned by him. Published over 400 scientific papers, was involved in several community financed projects. Currently works as a professor ot Technical University of Budapest and parallel as vice  president of the valve product group at Knorr Bremse.
