InterContinental Geneva is a stately, 18-storey tower in the centre of the diplomatic district. Surrounded by parkland, with Lake Geneva and the Alps visible in the distance, the hotel is close to the International Red Cross, Red Crescent Museum, the United Nations Office, the Palexpo Congress Center and the CICG conference center. Old Town and the Botanical Gardens are also nearby.

Dinner

We are organising a Gala Dinner for the conference participants on the evening of Wednesday 29th September. The dinner will take place from 19.30 at the Intercontinental Hotel, Geneva.

The networking dinner will provide participants with a unique opportunity to forge new professional acquaintances and strengthen existing relationships in a relaxed environment.

The evening will begin with a welcome drinks reception, followed by a 3-course meal and will conclude with coffee & petit fours.

The total cost is £70 plus 7.6% Swiss VAT per person.

La Favola

Small and quaint, this restaurant, which specializes in Italian cuisine, is considered by some the best dining choice in the city. Located near the Cathedral de St. Pierre, La Favola specializes in entrées from Tuscany. Menu choices include vitello tonnato, thin sliced veal with tuna sauce, and tortellini filled with ricotta and served in an au jus made with herbs and red wine. The restaurant is family owned, and the food is as authentic as it comes. La Favola has two dining rooms and seats about 35 diners, so reservations are recommended, especially on weekends. Although entrees are Thai, most dishes are updated with innovative combinations of spices and flavours.
