“ I’ve been a bit “conferenced out”, but you have me excited about going.”

Nick Matuszewski, Sr. Buyer, Services, ULTA Inc.
“It was difficult to free up my schedule in budget season, but it was worth attending. Very good sessions and speakers”

Quentin Roach, CPO, Bristol-Myers Squibb
“Procurecon is a great place to network with other procurement professionals that face the same challenges and provides an outlet to discuss the issues of today. You can learn about innovation from suppliers in a passive way through presentations that showcase a concept and not necessarily a sales pitch.”

Wayne S. Evans, Head of Procurement Americas, Deutsche Post DHL
"I thought the information shared at the event was spot on in today’s procurement world. Everything was relevant, and it seemed everyone from a macro level were pursuing the same things. Speakers were “real” and engaged into what we are all doing. It validated a lot of our efforts. I wouldn’t change anything. I would advise however, that whatever means to capture the relevant procurement environment today that you use the same methodology to stay relevant next year."

Jim Higgs, Sr. Manager, Central Buying Office Services, Newell Rubbermaid
"The networking opportunities alone are worth attending an event. Where else do you have the opportunity to sit in a room full of procurement professionals and listen to how they dealt with challenges and problems.....then meet them one-on-one to discuss further."

Randall C. Clark, Senior Strategic Buyer, Volvo Group Non-Automotive Purchasing
"Operation and SCM leaders can use the thoughtful and sometimes “Bleeding Edge” activities that are discussed at the sessions to further enhance and grow their organizations"

Michael Rager, TYCO
"There’s a lot of time and work that goes in to using the tools we already have to plan the future of our organizations as well as to put out today’s “fires”, which always seem to trump everything else…But we need to remember that the world is a dynamic place and even though we can “Google it”, you often get what you pay for…all the answers are not at our disposal, we need to learn from each other."

Mike Inman, Partner, TableForce Negotiations
"The 2013 ProcureCon, that was held in Charlotte, NC, was the best ever. It included a wonderful blend of Senior Level Subject Matter Experts, sharing Industry Knowledge, Lesson’s Learned, and Category Methodology, for the attendees who attended this exceptional conference. It was a pleasure to attend; it was time well spent.”

Joseph R. Richardson, Ph.D., Head of Corporate Procurement, FMC Technologies
ProcureCon Indirect is one of the best run conferences in the procurement space. The agenda is relevant to current hot topics within the industry and the sessions are run with precision. I am most impressed with how the sessions are kept on schedule and there is plenty of time for networking. The exhibitors are strategically placed so that there is constant interaction with the attendees. It is certainly well worth the investment!

Sonia O. Knight, Marketing & Conference Manager, Allegis Group Services Inc.
"Recently, we participated in several roundtables that discussed Supply Chain’s role versus the role of Sale and Marketing. It sparked a spirited discussion, but clearly established an interesting link between the two functions. While we differentiated the two roles, as a function, we also explored the significance of joint strategies that aligns those functions with our customers and the supply base. This was truly an enlightening experience that was a definite “take-away”."

Joseph R. Richardson, Head of Corporate Procurement, FMC Technologies
"I would recommend that procurement executives use ProcureCon as a barometer to measure their respective organizational alignment, strategic focus and enablers. It is a wonderful event that unites procurement executives from different industries, under one roof. It is an exceptional event and definitely worth the investment in time and conference fee. "

Joseph R. Richardson, Head of Corporate Procurement, FMC Technologies
"There are always take-aways. At one ProcureCon we heard about new type of card payment program. Since then we have implemented our own initiative, though quite different, based on hearing that success story."

John O. Proverbs, Senior Director, Corporate Procurement KLA
"I Feel that getting the industry practitioners and thought leaders together is the best way of sharing information and moving the entire industry further into higher efficiencies and technology usage, which will help us all reduce cost aiding business growth "

BJ DeFelice, Chairman, Weirton Area Port Authority, Inc.
"ProcureCon provided many ideas and follow up actions which I will bring back to PPG. Very beneficial and valuable, again!"

Jim Polak, Director General Purchasing, PPG Industries
"It has stimulated many thoughts towards improvement within my organization"

Darryl M. Husenits, Consol Energy Inc., General Manager SCM
"I speak with my contacts from ProcureCon throughout the year. I recently email a question on corporate cards and received about 1 0 answers within the hour; very powerful. Also, the solution zone at ProcureCon is very helpful. I met up with two suppliers in the last two years and I’m now doing half a million in deals with each of them"

Pete Connelly, CPO, Leggett & Platt
"ProcureCon was one of the most professional things I’ve participated in throughout the year. Very well run, organized, the quality of people. The discussions at the event set me onto different approaches for Volvo in 2009. The solution zone brought me over 12 different supplier leads I need to follow up with. I’ll bring in more people to present internally than ever before."

Randy Clark, Sr. Strategic Buyer, Volvo Group Non-Automotive Purchasing, Volvo
"The conference was a series of interesting input and insights. Very good level of attendees and content. Organization was very good as well. I am very satisfied with my take away of the conference. Hope in 2010 we can have more Unilever delegates. Cheers"

Fabio Pollice, Global Category Supply Management Director, Unilever
"The ProcureCon Indirect Conference 2010 provided an excellent forum for procurement professionals and executives to share and discuss leading edge ideas on how to best manage Indirect/Expense spending. The experience level of all participants, along with the content and timing of sessions were exception. I look forward to future conferences to stay at the forefront of Indirect Spend Management. Overall excellent experience."

Benedict J. DeFelice, C.P.M., Global Sourcing Leader, UTC Fire & Security
"It was a good meeting and I feel that there was value in attending. I did like the format of the meeting this year with the interview style verses the speech type approach. Certainly will plan on attending again next year."

Doug Schwartz, Assistant Vice-President of Administrative Services, Sammons Financial Group
"The conference was perfect for me. I am not a professional procurement person and portions of the procurement area have recently fallen under my scope of responsibility. I wanted a conference that was strategic enough to help me connect the dots and better understand the logistics and procurement challenges that a high growth organization is likely to face…the conference met this need. I also wanted a conference that gave some tactical or “how to” best practices that I could potentially begin to execute upon the return to my office…the conference also met this need. Additionally, the conference was the perfect size for me…. Overall, I was very satisfied."
