| Commander Jerry D. Davis is the Employee Representative on the Board of Trustees for the New Orleans Employees’ Retirement System. He was first elected to this five-member board in 1986, as the Employee Representative, and is now in his seventh term. He was elected Chairman of the Board in 1994, after serving as Chairman of the Investment Committee for seven years, during which time the Fund progressed from a fixed-income-only allocation to a balanced mix of asset classes. | Rodney Lake is a Senior Investment Analyst in George Washington University’s (GW) Investment Office. Under the direction of the Chief Investment Officer, the office is responsible for managing the University’s $1.1 billion endowment fund. Mr. Lake’s responsibilities include developing investment themes, as well as identifying and recommending implementation strategies including the use of derivatives across all asset classes. Additional responsibilities include monitoring existing managers, performing due diligence for new investment opportunities, monitoring economic, political and geopolitical factors globally, as well as tracking capital flows in the public and private markets. Mr. Lake is also the Teaching Assistant for the Applied Portfolio Management course in the MBA program at the University. John Anderson is the Head of Power and Project Finance for John Hancock, the US arm of Manulife Financial of Toronto, the second largest life insurer in North America. His team manages an $11 billion portfolio of public bonds, private placement debt, and private equity investments. In 2007, they invested $2 billion into the power industry and other infrastructure companies.
Mr. Anderson has worked in the financing of the power industry since 1992, as an investor, as an arranger of financing, and as a financial advisor to power, energy, and environmental companies in both developed and developing markets. Prior to joining John Hancock in 2001, Mr. Anderson worked in the New York and London offices of JP Morgan Chase, where he led teams that advised on or arranged more than US$8 billion in debt financing from the syndicated loan and bond markets.

Dr. Blanch joined Merrill Lynch in April 2005 and his role focuses on the analysis of commodity prices and derivatives. Paul D.
