Kevin Tate, CMO, ShopIgniter

Kevin comes to ShopIgniter with 13 years of experience in eCommerce and Social Media. Previously the VP of Business Development for the Dachis Group and Co-founder of StepChange, he oversaw the strategy and development of more than 250 social media experiences for leading brands and agencies. Prior to the advent of social media, Kevin was VP of Marketing for Unicru/Kronos, an enterprise Retail SaaS provider, and Fort Point Partners. Having started as a web programmer and DBA in 1995, Kevin helped Fort Point to create some of the web’s first integrated eCommerce sites for clients like JCrew, BestBuy and even Egghead.com. Kevin holds a degree in International Relations from Stanford University, which he admits doesn’t seem to have much to do with his career path.
