Asia’s biggest investor-focussed ETF & indexing conference - now in Hong Kong!

Why you need to be at ETFs Asia

  • The event that’s by investors for investors – in our research with over 100 people from pension funds, insurance schemes, asset and hedge fund managers we’ve tailored an agenda that specifically meets your needs: an unbiased evaluation of ETFs as an asset class; the true picture on the regulatory landscape for ETFs; and practical case studies from those investors who have already allocated to ETFs.
  • Practical investor led sessions – As the conference is investor focused, we’ve got more investors speaking at our event than any other ETF conference in the region.
  • An event that maximizes your time and value – Like any good investor I’m sure you’re busy and pressed for time. ETFs Asia 2012 is now a 1 day event in Hong Kong.
  • A conference that is guaranteed to meet your needs – Have you ever attended an event where there were only 20 people in the room and they were all speakers? I’m sure you don’t want to waste your time at an event like that. Our 2011 event had 246 attendees. More importantly, they were 246 extremely satisfied attendees.
  • More investors speaking than ever before (40 investors will be speaking at ETFs Asia 2012, more than any other ETF event in Asia). More new speakers (Over 70% new speakers are different from our 2011 agenda to ensure that the focus and insights are fresh, rather than hearing the same old speakers giving the same tired perspectives. More interactivity (We’ve doubled the number of networking sessions as well as introducing more interactive roundtables and Oxford style debates helping you get to the heart of the matter).

I just wanted to let you know I'm currently in the process of researching and selecting speakers for our 3rd Annual ETFs & Index Investment Asia event.

  • 27th September - HarbourGrand, Hong Kong

Topics discussed include regulatory ETF updates, synthetic vs physical ETFs, country focuses, trading ETF issues, and how to integrate ETFs into your portfolio construction.

If you know of any good speakers, or would like to put yourself forward as a speaker, then please let me know.

We had 246 attendees last year of which over 60% were from an investor / asset management background. This year we're already on track to get in excess of 300 attendees. If you are interested I encourage you to get involved at this early stage.

  • Quality audience – We don’t charge your customers (i.e. investors to attend): we give them passes after carefully qualifying them that they were actively looking into investing into ETFs.

In 2011 we had 161 investors out of a total of 246 delegates.

If your target is pension funds, insurance companies, private banks, asset or hedge fund managers, you’ve clicked on the right event.

Good news: It's a 1 day event in Hong Kong (where the event was held last year) which will attract investors from Hong Kong, Greater China and North Asia

  • Quality speakers – At WBR we’re tough on ourselves when it comes to our programmes. Sure, we allow a few quality ETF issuers and index providers like yourselves to speak, but we also ensure that we have case studies, practical insights and unbiased evaluations from your customers (i.e. the investor) about what they really think of ETFs as an asset class. The end result? Our event attracts more investors then any other in the region (which is good news for you!)

  • Quality networking – Have you ever been to one of those death by PowerPoint events? Boring aren't they? Our events feature loads of interactive sessions: interactive roundtables; Oxford style debates; lunch and evening cocktail receptions – all great opportunities to meet with investors and ensure that they going from being your potential customers to your proven customers.

If you’re involved in the construction, selling, marketing, issuing or trading of ETFs and indexed products and would like to find out more how our event can help your business objectives please call Naz for a chat on +65 6408 9207
