EDM Council
Founded in 2005 as a member funded trade association (not-for-profit business league) the Enterprise Data Management Council (EDM Council) is the only organisation exclusively focused on providing the data management industry with a global, independent and neutral forum to address the issues of data management and in doing so, to represent the collective voice of the data management community.
The EDM Council is an international organisation with a single focus on the objective of data content management within the financial industry. We have prioritised on three core targets; 1) the creation and implementation of of standards and identification of financial instruments, business entities and contractual attributes, 2) the development of best practices to turn the 'art and practice' into the 'science and discipline' of data management, and 3) to facilitate a neutral business forum for all segments of the information chain including data originators, vendors, consumers and regulators.

The Electronic Commerce Code Management Association is an international association of industry and government master data managers working together to increase the quality and lower the cost of descriptions of individuals, organizations, goods and services through developing and promoting International Standards for Master Data Quality.
Formed in April 1999; the Electronic Commerce Code Management Association has brought together thousands of experts from around the world and provides them a means of working together in the fair, open and extremely fast environment of the Internet to build and maintain the global, open standard dictionaries that are used to unambiguously label information. The existence of these dictionaries of labels allows information to be passed from one computer system to another without losing meaning.

The Financial Industry Network (FINet) is a membership organisation bringing together consumers and vendors of market data services for mutual benefit. It is structured as a non-profit company limited by guarantee and run purely for the benefit of its members. Membership is free if you are currently working within the financial services industry at a financial institution, at a market data vendor, or as a recruiter, journalist or independent consultant.
