Tack Wai joined GS1 Singapore in July 2009. He is working towards bringing more value to GS1 Singapore Registered Users through various activities such as GS1 Standards training, export development programs, trade mission, exhibitions. He continues his work to develop and roll out GS1 standards on barcodes (1D, Databar, 2D DataMatrix & QR Code) for FMCG retail supply chain, fresh food, food safety, healthcare, construction, aerospace, GDSN (global data synchronization network) data pool, MobileCom (authentication and extended labeling), EPCIS and GS1 eCOM e-commerce to further enable efficient trade. On 1 Sep 2010, Tack Wai was appointed as Acting Assistant Secretary General in the Singapore Manufacturers’ Federation (SMa), the umbrella body for manufacturers in Singapore, which contributes 25% of Singapore’s GDP. This role is concurrent with his GS1 Singapore role as Executive Director. Paul has worked for more than 12 years with both international and regional logistics companies. He has held senior management positions with companies such as YCH Group and EGL Eagle Global Logistics (Asia Pacific). Paul's career in Logistics started in 1995 when he joined YCH as a Corporate Development Manager. Rising within the ranks, he became a Special Assistant to the CEO within 6 months and oversaw various critical projects and expansion plans. He was the lead person in new solution creations as well as strategic business development. In 2001, Paul joined EGL Eagle Global Logistics as its Regional Logistics Director. He subsequently moved to Menlo Worldwide Logistics for a similar position. In both companies, he was responsible for the overall logistics development in Asia Pacific, encompassing Business Development, Operations and IT. Paul left Menlo in April 2004 to provide a dedicated consultancy and developmental work to a local logistics company in Thailand. Today, Paul provides consultancy services in the areas of corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions (working closely through his principal BG Strategic Advisors), training and development as well as IT strategy and executions. Paul started his career as retail manager in the ladies' department of Isetan and subsequently branch out into entrepreneurship, selling training, consultancy and IT services to SMEs. Paul was selling email services under the Compuserv network when it was almost unheard of. He was almost a bankrupt in 1994 when the company collapsed and found a way to survive by joining YCH in 1995. Mr Ni Sheng Jie started the current role of Regional Industry Director for Healthcare in Apr 2011. He is responsible to develop healthcare supply chain practice in TNT Asia Pacific Region. As a key member of TNT’s Global Account Management team for Healthcare, Mr Ni will lead TNT’s initiatives to support a portfolio of healthcare customers in the Asia Pacific Region.

As Cargo Product & Marketing Manager, Jack Lo is responsible for the development and marketing of products for Cathay Pacific Cargo. His responsibilities include product design and development, quality assurance management and research into customer needs. Mr Lo was responsible for the development and implementation of the airline’s Pharma Lift product – a specialised service catering for the pharmaceutical industry. Gerry Mattios is an expert principal of Bain & Company based in Beijing. He joined the firm in 2011 with more than 15 years of industry and consulting experience. Lok Mun Leng has over 12 years of experience in supply chain management since he joined the healthcare industry in 1998. He has played a key role in helping to transform the management of the supply chain to a proactive model in the SingHealth Group. Mun Leng currently leads the non-pharmaceutical section for the Group Procurement Office (GPO) that manages more than 80 contracts for products and services ranging from medical supplies to contract services such as housekeeping, electricity, advertisement, debt collection and uniforms.
