NAT SEC 08

The Premier National Security and Counter Terrorism Conference

In an uncertain and increasingly unpredictable security landscape, the importance of acting early to terrorist threats and attacks is paramount. NAT SEC 08 will bring together these agencies and organizations that work on the multiple aspects of National Security including counter-terrorism and will look at how they are transforming in order to cope with changing threat scenarios throughout Europe.

The conference will focus upon the following major themes

  • Inter-agency collaboration
  • Threat Detection
  • Threat Prevention
  • Threat Response

Each section can in itself be taken separately. However, in order to create an effective threat response mechanism, these elements need to be fused together. This will facilitate the sharing of information, help avoid the duplication of resources and create a more efficient command and control structure.

After a long day of discussions, This was an excellent opportunity to network with peers, meet old contacts, and make new ones so that delegates left the conference with a comprehensive network of experts from across the globe that they can tap into for years to come.
