Jean-Francois Baril is Senior Vice President, Sourcing and Procurement for Nokia Corporation, based in Espoo Finland. He joined Nokia Group on January 1999

Prior to joining Nokia, Jean-Francois was Director at Compaq where he has leading the European Sourcing and Materials responsibilities based in Erskine, Scotland from 1994 to 1997. He then moved to Houston Texas from 1997 to 1999 as both Director, Corporate Procurement for the Mass Storage and Director Sourcing for Compaq Storage business unit.

Jean-Francois started his career in Sourcing and Procurement at Hewlett-Packard Grenoble France in 1984 where he held various responsibilities including the worldwide leadership for Sourcing for the HP Personal Computer division between 1991 and 1994.

Other industrial experiences include two years on offshore platforms in West Africa with Schlumberger and one year at Commissariat a l’Energie Atomique in France as Research Engineer.

Jean-Francois was Chairman of the Electronic Component Board for RosettaNet from 2002 to 2004. Jean-Francois has been nominated in January 2003 “Conseiller du Commerce Exterieur” by the French Minister of Commerce. Jean-francois is also Board Member of NetOnNet company listed in Stockholm.

Jean-Francois was born in Paris, France in 1956 and graduated with an Engineering degree from Ecole National Superieure d’Arts et Metiers Paris and has a Master of Sciences from Stanford University California.

Henrik Larsen commenced his employment with A.P. Moller - Maersk as a trainee in 1981. He was expatriated to San Francisco, USA. In 1985 he returned to Maersk Line in the Copenhagen head office, after which he was stationed to Dubai. First as Owners’ Representative for the A. P. Moller activities in the United Arab Emirates & Oman, later he was appointed General Manager for Maersk Kanoo LLC, also in Dubai.

In 1993 Henrik Larsen returned to Maersk Line in Copenhagen holding various positions, amongst others being regionally responsible for a BPR project for the Maersk Agencies in Europe and Africa. He was appointed General Manager in 1997.

In 1998 he was appointed Regional Line Manager for Maersk Line in South America, taking up office in Sao Paulo, Brazil. In 2002 followed a posting as Regional Line manager for the Maersk Sealand activities in Central Europe based in Hamburg, Germany.

Since 2003 Henrik Larsen has been a member of the management team in Maersk Procurement, Copenhagen, where he has had the responsibility for Implementation, Knowledge sharing and Training & Education. From 1 October 2006 Henrik was appointed Senior Director and deputy to the CPO and at the same time also assuming the strategic sourcing responsibility in the A.P. Moller – Maersk Group. On

1st march 2008 Henrik Larsen was appointed Vice President and also assumed the responsibility of Indirect procurement.

Roles ranged from upstream supplier development to oleochemical commodity buying. Late 2006 Onno moved on to Goodyear where became CPO for EMEA. There orchestrated a complete overhaul of country based procurement (direct & indirect purchasing) into a lean regional commodity focused organization. Part of the re-organization included restructuring a full-service procurement outsourcing agreement on Indirect spend and Accounts Payable. Most recently, EMEAs purchasing organization implemented the latest generation e-procurement and e-sourcing modules and are near-shoring transactional activity to an in-house shared service center.

Glenn started in BT studying electronic engineering but also has an extensive Quality and Reliability background. Dennis Bauer started his career in the technology industry where he grew to hold numerous senior management positions at companies ranging from venture capital funded start-ups to ERP provider Lawson Software. He has worked in the procurement and payments industry since the late 1990’s when he joined Ariba, Inc where he managed the team responsible for industry marketplaces. He was also the Vice President in charge of Global Sales at Xign, Inc we he led growth through customer acquisition that led to the company being acquired by JP Morgan Chase. Following the acquisition, Dennis joined the Commercial Card business at American Express where he had responsibility for strategy and go to market activities for their B2B solutions where he became known as an industry spokesperson and product strategist in the rapidly expanding commercial payments market.

Currently, Dennis is the Managing Director for Barclaycard Global Commercial Payments where he is responsible for one of the largest commercial payment businesses in Europe.

A husband and father to twin daughters, Dennis is also a keen sports fan and a lifelong Dallas Cowboys supporter. His other interests include skiing, golf, travel and sprint triathlons.
