It is entirely suitable for firms to nominate themselves. No one can know better than you how much you have accomplished. Entries are open to procurement organisations.

Service providers and consultants may submit nominations for procurement organisations/individuals, but not for themselves.


Individuals may nominate their own firms, and you can also nominate a third party company. One entry only per form. You may enter more than one category (using a separate form for each one) but you may NOT enter the same entry more than once.)

CFO Of The Year
This Award recognises and honours the best in financial leadership. It recognises the CFO/Finance Director who most exemplifies contribution to the development of the procurement function through excellence, leadership & innovation. The judges will look for strong evidence of:
  • Clear vision and leadership of corporate reporting and performance, social responsibility and innovation
  • Value creation ideas and activities for development and contribution to procurement effectiveness
  • Outstanding business contribution to procurement’s performance and future direction
Procurement Leader Of The Year
This Award recognises the individual who most exemplifies procurement excellence, leadership & innovation. The judges will look for strong evidence of:
  • Innovation initiatives, programmes and successes
  • Value creation ideas, development and contribution to procurement effectiveness
  • Contribution to team excellence
  • Contribution to sustainable business excellence
ProcureCon Award For Innovation And Change Management
This Award recognises innovation from the point of view of a specific project, initiative, or supplier relationship. The judges will look for strong evidence of:
  • The originality of the initiative
  • The commercial value of the initiative
  • The ability to measure the results of the initiative clearly and communicate these results
  • The sustainability of the productivity elements
  • The amount best practice has been communicated to the rest of the company

ProcureCon Awards - The Rules

Eligibility
Any procurement organisation can be nominated. The judges are measuring progress towards procurement leadership, improvement, innovation and overall excellence against that of your peers and the best in Europe.

Anyone can enter a third party’s performance or you can enter your own firm or even yourself. One entry only per form. You may enter more than one category (using a separate form for each one). Please do not submit duplicate entries.

Please read the details on the categories you are interested in and ensure that you are entering the most appropriate categories. If you are entering one of these categories you should make it clear precisely who or what part of the company is being nominated.

Summary Statement
Each entry must have a summary statement (500 words maximum) in clear language stating why this entry should win in its category.

Evidence of Achievement
You can also provide supporting materials, with a maximum of two documents. Press releases, financial results, news stories from relevant media organisations, documents from independent research organisations, relevant media copies of press releases and testimonials from clients are helpful. All the information contained in the entries and marked confidential will remain so. The most important point to focus on when preparing the background material and supporting evidence is that it is clarity and relevance that matters. Please attach the most straight-forward and tangible evidence you can to support the entry’s chances.
  • Entries received after the closing date will not be accepted under any circumstances.
  • The judges reserve the right to disqualify any entry not fully completed.
  • The judges’ decision is final in all cases. No correspondence will be entered into.
  • The shortlist of finalists will be notified in advance of the presentation of awards.
  • The winner of each category will be announced at the presentation of the awards. Under no circumstances will winners’ details be disclosed before the Ceremony.
  • All material submitted will remain strictly confidential to the judges.
  • Reviews of submissions from finalists and winners will be published in connection with the awards. Entrants may however mark certain sensitive parts of their entry as “not for publication”.

  • Nomination Form including a clear Summary Statement explaining the reasons why this entry should win (maximum 500 words)

  • Any supporting material. Please send a maximum of two supporting materials as email attachments e.g. press releases, financial results, client testimonials, news stories, research reports, etc (please reference the Award Category and company name/individual nominated in your email)
