ProcureCon Background:

The ProcureCon event series has grown into the premier opportunity on the continent for the industry to learn from, and network with, one another. But don’t just take our word for it

I want to thank you for an outstanding job leading the Procurecon event in Atlanta. I was very disappointed the last time I had attended a past conference with 4 of my team members, yet this was truly a worthwhile experience and investment. Good topics, a very manageable attendee count and great networking opportunities!

Brian Bancroft, Sr. Director Global Procurement, Kelloggs

Yes, I think it was a valuable experience. This was my first procurecon and I wasn’t sure what to expect. In the past I had gone to APICS and NAPM conferences, but those are much different from what you offer. The presentations were all very good. Some perhaps need to use more concrete examples or data, but all in all, good presentations. The panels were typically pretty good. I’m hoping to be at the next session. It’s a good event and community!

Tim Fowler, Worldwide Commodity Manager, Lexmark

The sessions are succinct and the content is timely; the Practitioner’s only day is priceless; but the real gem is the direct interaction with senior level executives in my field – that is worth the price of the conference alone. Nowhere else do I find this much benefit in the way of best practices and indirect executives. I have yet to walk away from a ProcureCon event without a learning, idea or supplier recommendation that affects my company’s bottom line.

Jamie Crump, Director Indirect Strategic Sourcing, United Rentals

The ProcureCon Conference is a key industry event that should not be missed by any Supply Chain expert. ProcureCon brings together a unique blend of Supply Chain experts from across all industries to share their experiences and knowledge with a team of people who truly embrace the strategically important field of Supply Chain Management. I have already put into action some of cutting edge innovations learned at ProcureCon conference last year and can’t wait to attend the 2010 conference to learn more.

Ron Tabbitas, Director, Subcontracts, Cost Analysis & Technical Support, Telephonics Corporation

The networking opportunities alone are worth attending an event. Where else do you have the opportunity to sit in a room full of procurement professionals and listen to how they dealt with challenges and problems.....then meet them one-on-one to discuss further.

Randy Clark, Sr. Strategic Buyer, Volvo Group

I speak with my contacts from ProcureCon throughout the year. I recently email a question on corporate cards and received about 1 0 answers within the hour; very powerful. Also, the solution zone at ProcureCon is very helpful. I met up with two suppliers in the last two years and I’m now doing half a million in deals with each of them

Pete Connelly, CPO, Leggett & Platt

It was difficult to free up my schedule in budget season, but it was worth attending. Very good sessions and speakers

Quentin Roach, CPO, Bristol-Myers Squibb

Procurecon is a great place to network with other procurement professionals that face the same challenges and provides an outlet to discuss the issues of today. You can learn about innovation from suppliers in a passive way through presentations that showcase a concept and not necessarily a sales pitch.

Wayne S. Evans, Head of Procurement Americas, Deutsche Post DHL

There are always take-aways. At one ProcureCon we heard about new type of card payment program. Since then we have implemented our own initiative, though quite different, based on hearing that success story

John O. Proverbs, Senior Director, Corporate Procurement, KLA- Tencor
