1:15 Exploring The Benefits Of An On-Demand TMS Solution
Russ Marky, Senior Vice President, Global Business Technology, Odyssey Logistics and Technology

According to Logistics Management’s (LM) 2012 Supply Chain Software User Survey, just 37 percent of respondents said they’re currently using a TMS, versus 32 percent in 2011, while 25 percent are planning to buy/upgrade. While the trend is heading in the right direction, adoption rates are actually closer to 20 percent or less, with many companies still handling transactions manually. Yet with low, up-front costs, opportunities to automate processes, improve network leverage, and increase margins, now could be the time to consider the options.

In this workshop, the features and benefits an on-demand TMS can deliver will be presented. The advantages of this type of model will be discussed and examples of how companies have benefitted will be shared. Russ Marky, SVP, Global Business Technology, Odyssey Logistics & Technology (OL&T) will be the Workshop Leader and case studies will be presented.

Key Takeaways:

  • Attendees will learn about choices that exist in the marketplace and the differences are between on-premise and on-demand
  • TMS technological advancements will be reviewed with a sharp focus on how an on-demand solution can help to squeeze the maximum benefits and profits from the supply chain
