|
SecurePharma 2009 provides an opportunity for representatives from industry and government to listen to each other, talk and strategize with one another because product security and patient safety are critical priorities that cannot be pushed back any longer.
SecurePharma 2009 ensures your specific priorities are addressed:
Are you following the California Pedigree timelines and requirements?
- Join Virginia Herold, Executive Officer of the CA Board of Pharmacy and understand what the new 2015 deadline really means. How do the new timelines impact your plans for e-pedigree preparation and compliance?
Are you evaluating or currently implementing a specific track and trace strategy for your products?
- Hear from David Ulrich and Scott Rasmussen of Abbott Laboratories as they share case studies on product serialization across trading partners.
- Take a look at how Abbott is doing unit, case, and pallet serialization along with aggregation and associated electronic pedigrees sent to 3 wholesalers.
Are you looking for better packaging solutions to enhance product protection and patient compliance?
- Walter Berghahn, VP of Packaging Technology, AmerisourceBergen will share case studies on how compliance prompting packaging can increase patient safety
- Hear from a group of industry experts talk about Smart Packaging to ensure patients are better protected from counterfeit medicine.
The themes to be covered during the 3-day conference include:
- Security in Manufacturing
- Security in Packaging and Distribution
- Security in Drug Administration At The Patient-Level/Pharmacy-Level
- Updates on Pedigree Regulations
- Updates on Track and Trace Technologies
