2009 Post Event Report

TradeTech Asia has had its best year since beginning in 2005. Over the 2 days, 414 attendees, including a 55% showing from the buy side came to the 6th Annual TradeTech Asia.

Our number of sponsors and exhibitors were up and we were delighted to welcome new companies and individuals to experience TradeTech Asia for the first time. New sponsor Srinivas Padmasola of Bank of America Merrill Lynch stated "it raised the benchmark a little higher and I was impressed by the buy side that attended the conference and that stayed long enough. It was a very worthwhile two days"

There was cutting edge debate on hot industry topics such as dark pools, smart order routing, algorithmic trading, high frequency trading, regulation, and commission sharing and broker selection.
