Tony Mackay is Chief Executive Officer of Chi-X Global Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of global securities firm and Nomura Holdings, Inc. subsidiary Instinet. In this role he is responsible for the strategic direction of the firm’s Chi-X trading platforms, including Chi-X Europe, Chi-X Canada and Chi-X Australia.
Mr. Mackay joined Instinet in 1995 as Dealing Director for Instinet’s Asia-Pacific operations, based in Hong Kong. In 1999, he moved to London to establish Instinet’s Asian operations in Europe and, in 2001, moved back to Asia, where he served as President and CEO of Instinet Japan and Head of Instinet Asia, where he was actively involved in improving the development of an alternative market for Japanese equities and the sponsorship of independent research boutiques. In 2004, Mr. Mackay was appointed President and Managing Director of Instinet Europe Limited, during which time he spearheaded the establishment of Chi-X Europe Ltd.
Mr. Mackay began his stockbroking career in 1980 in Australia and has worked for both traditional and electronic brokerage firms in Sydney, Hong Kong, London and Tokyo. |

Mr Caisley is an Executive Vice President and the Chief Information Officer of Singapore Exchange Limited (SGX). He is responsible for managing the Technology group which comprises the functions of IT planning and governance, enterprise architecture, solutions delivery and services management.
He provides leadership and oversees the development and delivery of proven IT services and new technologies, such as the roll-out of the new Order Management System (OMS) and SGX’s new trading engine in 2008, to serve the needs of the industry well into the future. He also assists the Chief Operations Officer in ensuring a robust and reliable technology infrastructure that reinforces SGX’s strategic business and growth plans.
With more than 25 years of experience in IT project management and operations, Mr Caisley also provides strategic guidance in technology direction and business development at SGX.
Mr Caisley joined SGX on 14 January 2008. Prior to SGX, he was responsible for the management of all the Australian Securities Exchange’s (ASX) business solutions projects. In his career, he has been responsible for the successful implementations of key IT projects with the Kuwait Investment Office and Commercial Union PLC. Prior joining the SFC, Mr. Wheatley was Deputy Chief Executive of the London Stock Exchange (LSE).
Mr. Wheatley was also Chairman of the FTSE International and sat on the Listing Advisory Committee of the Financial Services Authority (FSA) in London.

He reports to Brett Goodin, President for Fidelity, Asia Pacific and is a member of the Fidelity Asia Operating Committee.
Chris joined Fidelity from ING Investment Management, the second largest investment management company in Asia (ex-Japan), where he held the position of Chief Executive Officer for Asia Pacific for five years. In this role, Chris was responsible for the firm’s operations in 13 locations across Asia with more than US$150 billion (house style) AUM and over 1,000 staff. Chris was a member of the ING Global Leadership Council and executive team.
Prior to this role, Chris was ING’s Regional General Manager for North Asia, responsible for operations in Hong Kong, Taiwan, the PRC, South Korea and Japan. In this position, he engineered ING’s first joint venture fund management company in the PRC, managed the merger of three ING-owned fund management entities in Taiwan, and successfully restructured the firm’s operations in Japan.
Prior to ING, Chris held the position of Managing Director of HSBC Funds Asia Pacific for seven years where he was responsible for the firm’s Asset Management retail fund operations consisting of operations in Hong Kong, Australia, Singapore, Taiwan, Japan and South Korea, US$25 billion of assets and approximately 180 staff.

Mark joined Merrill Lynch in 2004 in London and held a number of positions including Head of EMEA Portfolio Trading and Head of EMEA Cash Equity Trading. In 2007, he was named Head of Execution Services for EMEA in the run up to the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID). Over the three years he spent in Europe, Mark helped Merrill Lynch roll out its X-Act Electronic Trading platform, which incorporates the X-Direct low-latency DMA, the advanced Algorithmic Trading platform, the MLXN Internalisation Engine and the Smart Order Routing technology, resulting in Merrill Lynch’s No. 1 ranking on the London Stock Exchange and position as the largest participating broker on Chi-X when it went live in earnest post MiFID.
Before joining Merrill Lynch, Mark spent 15 years at Morgan Stanley where he ran the Portfolio and Delta 1 Trading business in Europe. He also worked at RBS in the Global Custodian and Trustee Division.

In addition, she has also developed the BMA sales distribution platform that facilitates over 200 international investors with coverage of the Pakistan equity market.
At BMA, Ms. Khan was initially involved with the asset management division and responsible for structuring and managing the BMA Pakistan Opportunities Fund, a USD denominated open ended fund focused on Pakistan equities. She played a key role in developing the investment strategy, trade execution methodology and performance-monitoring techniques of the fund.
Prior to joining BMA, Ms. Khan has worked as an equity investment analyst at KASB & Co., Karachi, an affiliate of Merrill Lynch Asia Pacific, where she produced several in-depth company and sector reports on Pakistan using Merrill’s regional platform. Ms. Khan has also worked with CLSA Emerging Markets and Al-Falah Securities in their respective equity research departments where she furthered her experience in financial analysis and stock valuation.
Ms. Khan holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Greenwich University. She has attended several international seminars including CLSA Investors’ forum 2007 in Hong Kong where she was the panel speaker on the presentation entitled “ Pakistan: Asia Pacific’s Top Performing Equity Market” |
