FIA Japan
Futures Industry Association Japan (FIA Japan) was founded in 1988 as an association of Japanese and Foreign futures industry participants. Its members have a common interest in the growth and success of the Japan financial marketplace. FIA Japan is actively involved as a forum for discussion of industry issues as well as an education and promotion of the Japanese derivatives markets.
In August 2010, FIA Japan was reestablished as a General Incorporated Association (Ippan Shadan Hojin) and marked a fresh start for further development.
FIA Japan is funded through the annual dues of its membership and we operate with a board of Directors represented by members elected by a vote of the entire membership. Officers, including the chairperson, president, vice-presidents, treasurer and secretary are selected by the board. Several committees provide the study and recommendations for many of the Board’s key initiatives.
