Takeshi Fujimaki established his own company, Fujimaki- Japan in April, 2000 after leaving Morgan Guaranty Trust Company of New York Tokyo office in March 2000.
Mr. Fujimaki joined Morgan Guaranty’s Tokyo office as head of Domestic Treasury in 1985. He was promoted to Managing Director and Treasurer in 1990. Since 1992, he has been a member of J.P. Morgan’s Tokyo Managing Committee and, became Tokyo Branch Manager of J.P. Morgan’s commercial bank, Morgan Guaranty Trust Company of New York in June 1995.
Prior to joining Morgan Guaranty Trust Co. of New York, Fujimaki was with the Mitsui Trust & Banking Co., Ltd., a company which he joined in 1974 upon graduation, with a major in management accounting, from Tokyo’s Hitotsubashi University. In 1980, while with Mitsui Trust & Banking, he obtained MBA from Northwestern University in the United States. In 1982, he transferred to its London office as a trader dealing with foreign exchange, money market products and bonds.
Fujimaki teaches financial markets at Hitotsubashi University and Waseda University as a lecturer.

東京都出身。1974年3月一橋大学商学部卒、1980年6月米国ノースウェスタン大学ケロッグスクール卒(MBA)。1974年4月三井信託銀行入行(外国資金課、ロンドン支店等在勤11年)、1985年9月モルガン銀行入行(東京支店資金為替部長、東京支店長等在勤15年)。同行では東京屈指のディーラーの名前をほしいままにする。2000年4月から9月にかけて、ジョージ・ソロスのアドバイザーを務めた後、投資助言会社フジマキ・ジャパン代表取締役社長。現在、一橋大学経済学部講師、早稲田大学大学院商学研究科講師を非常勤で務めるかたわら、金融庁の東京市場国際化スタディー・グループのメンバーでもある。
2007年7月『マネーはこう動く』 を光文社より発売。
2007年11月新刊『外資の常識』(日経ビジネス人文庫)を日経新聞出版社より発売。

| John has over twenty years of investment experience, firstly as a pioneer in Asian emerging markets. He began his career in 1985 at Fidelity Investments, Hong Kong as Head of Taiwan and Korea, and soon became Research Manager for the US-listed Taiwan Fund in Taipei. He returned to Hong Kong in 1987 to become a regional portfolio manager and also led Fidelity’s effort in Thai equities. He was promoted to Tokyo to cover Japanese and Korean equities and proceeded to cover pan-Asia equities at Fidelity and from 1993 through 1998, at his own firm, Asia House Investments. He then became Chief Strategist with the Mizuho Group, covering global equity, fixed income, currency and commodity markets. In 2004, he returned to Japan as Chief Japanese Equity Strategist for JPMorgan Securities and participated in the global equity strategy team. He joined Nikko AM’s headquarters in early 2006 as Head of Global Macro Strategy and Asset Allocation for all asset classes and chairs the Global Investment Committee. He and his team also publish the fortnightly Evolving Markets, revealing important global investment themes for Nikko AM’s global institutional client base. |

Former COO IT at Barclays Capital, PJ is the founder and CEO of JWG-IT Group Limited, a think-tank which helps implementers of European regulatory driven IT change increase the likelihood and speed of successful implementation by recommending 80% common, market sensitive and affordable operating models.
Prior to commercialising this entity, he co-chaired the IT Subject Group of the MiFID Joint Working Group. In this capacity he collaborated with sell-side and buy-side firms, the European Commission, CESR, FSA, HM Treasury and their counterparts across Europe as well as the IT and market data supplier communities.
PJ works with all types of financial services firms to define and implement IT strategies which increase performance and reduce operational risk. He has a proven track record in running IT services while successfully executing large-scale change and counts a number of top tier firms as his clients. He has spent 14 years in management consultancy with EDS/A.T. Kearney, Booz Allen & Hamilton and McKinsey serving global companies outside the financial services industry.
He is a frequent author and public speaker on topics including EU regulation, low latency and financial services infrastructure. He serves as a Wholesale Banking Technology Innovation Award judge for the Financial Times’ The Banker magazine, the Worldwide Business Research Technology awards and the Financial News Awards for IT excellence. |

昭和58年から平成元年末まで日系金融機関の海外店のシステムの開発や保守に携わる。米国ニューヨークに3年、引き続き英国ロンドンに2年駐在。米国では主に銀行間の取引に使用するマネー・マーケット用システム、英国では主にユーロ債取引システムの開発や保守を行う。
帰国後、平成2年英国マーチャント・バンクのエス・ジー・ウォーバーグ(現UBS証券)証券会社東京支店、平成9年リーマン・ブラザーズ証券会社東京支店において、証券会社のフロント取引系システムおよび業務管理系システムその両方の開発、運営、保守を担当し、IT部門の管理者として証券会社のシステム全般を管理した経験を持つ。
平成10年プライスウォーターハウスクーパースコンサルティング(現IBMビジネスコンサルティング)にて外資系金融機関のシステムデザインやシステム構築プロジェクトに携わり、コンサルティング会社のメソドロジーを用いた開発・運用・保守の手法とその実施方法を学ぶ。この時期に米国でのECNの発展やその展開に興味を持つ。
平成12年からの5年間は、PTS認可を取得しているインスティネット証券東京支店において情報技術部長兼アジア地区CTO(開発部門)を勤めた。その後SBIホールディング経営企画室を経て現在の職務につく。 |

In charge of the overall marketing functions of Fidessa and Fidessa LatentZero product suites (solutions for multi-asset trading, portfolio analysis, decision support, investment compliance, market data and global connectivity for both the buy-side and the sell-side) and the marketing communications activities for the Japanese market.
More than 20 years industry experience with financial information and electronic transactional products. Engaged in the electronic securities trading business for the last 9 years and proactively participated in the Japan FIX committee activities as a governance board member (Education & Marketing sub–committee) in 2006. Elected as Co-Chair of the FPL Japan regional committee in 2007.
Before joining Fidessa, held the position of VP, Head of Sales and Marketing for Japan with TradingScreen, and worked for Reuters for 17 years holding various product marketing positions both in Tokyo and overseas (UK and US). Joined Reuters London as a graduate management trainee from Reuters Asia in 1987.
2005年9月より現職。全金融資産取引対応のトレーディングシステムを、運用会社及び証券会社双方に提供するフィデッサ(及びフィデッサ レイテントゼロ)において、日本市場のマーケティング戦略策定・遂行、及びマーケティング・コミュニケーション活動を統括している。
