The Grand Hôtel is a classic landmark in the center of Stockholm. The location is perfect and the view over the harbour, Old Town and Royal Palace is much appreciated, both by international and Swedish guests.The Grand Hôtel has a long and fascinating history. Ever since its opening in 1874, big personalities, well-known as well as not-so-well-known, have come to stay at the hotel.

Check-in and Check-out
The rooms are available for check-in on arrival day from 2 pm and on departure day the check out time is at noon.

The Grand Hôtel is located centrally in the heart of Stockholm, the methods of travel to the hotel are as follows:

Air - About 45 minutes by car (45 km) from Arlanda airport (international and domestic services).
About 30 minutes by car from Bromma airport (domestic services only).

Arlanda Express - Train to Arlanda from Central Staion every 15 minutes.

Airport Buses - Airport buses to Arlanda depart every 10 minutes from the City Terminal,

Rail - About 15 minutes on foot (1 km) or 5 minutes by car from the Central Station on Vasagatan.

Bus - The nearest bus stop is at Kungsträdgården, about 200 metres from the hotel.

Parking, etc. - Hand your car keys to our doorman on arriving at the hotel, and they will take care of the parking. When you need your car again, they will bring the car to the hotel entrance.
