Head of Global Performance, Field Service and O&M SMA America

Sven Rothfuss in his role as Head of Global Performance, Field Service and O&M at SMA is responsible for ensuring optimal performance of SMA's Field Service and O&M organization. In this role he is responsible for defining, implementing and improving common processes and systems to enable teams across the globe to reach operational excellence. Sven Rothfuss joined SMA and the Solar industry in 2012. Since then he held multiple positions in Project and Partner Management and the service division. He was one of the first team members when SMA decided to start its O&M division in 2014. Prior to engaging in the renewable industry, Sven has been working in the construction and building materials industry as a company owner and before as VP for Strategic Sales and Marketing. Sven holds a degree as Diplomingenieur (MSc) for structural engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany (former University of Karlsruhe) and certifications as Welding Engineer, LEED AP BD+C and PMP.
