    Penn Medicine realized that there was great value in capturing and sharing patient and staff stories, but was looking for a way to scale story telling across our 41,00 employee organization. We launched the Penn Medicine Listening Lab: a traveling exhibit as well as a web based platform to share stories to build organizational culture and support the growth of the Penn Medicine Experience.

    COVID has caused PM Pediatrics to be very agile as a company to include the PX space as we build new business line/service models like Telemedicine and COVID Testing sites. On the Telemed side, we are the largest provider of Pediatric Telemedicine in the US currently in 14 states and Washington DC seeing around 12,000+ Telehealth visits a month. As such, we are also sitting on a treasure trove of national PX data from the Telemedicine space through our Telemedicine PX survey which is full of insights into how families engage with Telemedicine and where the struggles on the experience side reside

    In the midst of changes associated with COVID, Mayo Clinic instituted many short vignettes to help providers and staff continue to interact effectively with patients. Examples will be shared ranging from techniques to keep a human connection to management of patient behavioral problems.

    Michigan Medicine has begun the journey of transparency and accountability through public reporting of star ratings and implementation of the Patient Advocacy Reporting System and Co-Worker reporting system in partnership with Vanderbilt University. This session will give an overview of these two initiatives and how they relate to patient experience and how Michigan Medicine will use the data to improve training, coaching and delivery of care.

How Our Virtual Events Work

Participating in a virtual event is easy. Once you and your team register, each of you will receive a link to access the presentations. You can also add the event to your Outlook or other calendar as a reminder. You do not need to download or install any software to participate. All you need is Internet access. The sessions will be recorded, and will be available for a limited time afterwards. It’s going to be a great event!
